Navigation Bar Overview


When you first log-in to Arbimon, you will be taken to your ‘My Projects’ page. All projects that you are a member of will appear here. 

The top menu contains:

  • Projects (project directory)
  • How it works (information about Arbimon and its features)
  • About (pages on: Mission, Press, Publications, Blog, FAQ, Help, Contact us)

Once you click into one of your projects, you will see this secondary side-menu on the left of your screen.



You can see what each of these menu options refer to below:

  • Project Name - shows the project you’re in 
  • Overview - dashboard that displays project summary info, map of project sites, and descriptive stats on analyses run 
  • Import
    • Recordings - add audio recordings to your project, download the Arbimon Uploader App

  • Explore 
    • Visualizer - spectrogram visualizer where you can browse through recordings, spectrograms or soundscapes
    • Sites - view, add and manage your deployment sites
    • Recordings - manage, filter and query your recordings
    • Species - view, add and manage species in your project; view species’ templates (from your project & Public Template Library) 
    • Playlists - view, add and manage playlists in your project

  • Audio Analyses
    • Active jobs - view and monitor the progress of your   recently-run jobs 
    • Pattern Matching - View and manage project templates, view the public template library, run PM jobs and validate results
    • Random Forest Models - View and manage training sets, create RFM jobs, run classifications with them
    • Soundscape Analysis - run soundscape jobs and view results
    • Audio Event Detection - run AED jobs, view results 
    • Clustering - run cluster jobs, view and validate results

  • Ecological Insights
    • data visualization dashboard for your project, with pages: Overview, Richness, Activity, Spotlight (read more about these pages here)

  • Project Settings
    • Project information - view and edit project settings and information
    • Members - view, add and manage project members and their user roles

  • Help - View the Arbimon support documentation and collection of how-to articles
  • My Projects - homepage showing all of the Arbimon projects you are a member of
  • Account settings - Edit your contact information, profile photo, and affiliation(s)
